Description
Arabia Mountain is a National Heritage site. It used to be a Granite Quarry. Besides bodacious boulders it also contains a variety of rare and endangered plants, such as Diamorpha, which grows in the fragile solution pit ecosystems that appear on the rock face. So, please don't walk in the puddles. Even if they are dried up. Save the plants!
Park is only open from Dawn to Dusk.
Expect a lot of sun here. There's rarely any tree cover.
Getting There
The best two options for parking are the "South Parking" at the Bird Sanctuary or the "Nature Center Parking". Both lots are free to park at. There's limited spots at the South Parking lot. But if you park at the South lot you can hop on the "Climber's Loop" approach trail there and follow the totems to the top of Arabia Mt. The Climbs can be found scattered all around the bald mountain. Check the approach map for details.
