Description
This area has a something for everyone -- sport, trad, and bouldering. Lots of lines but plenty of room for continued development.
Getting There
Take Dixon Road of Highway 101 to the Goat Lake Mainline. Follow the Mainline until you pass mile marker 6. A few hundred meters farther, take a small gravel offshoot downhill toward the lake. At the bottom turn right onto the one-way Stillwater Main. Drive approximately 2 miles and park at a large pullout on the left (Rocky Point). If you pass mile marker 5, you've gone too far. 80 meters farther down the road, pick up the trail up to High Five in the trees. Approximately a 20 minute approach uphill.
If you have clearance, a closer parking spot is possible. After turning onto Stillwater Main, drive to mile marker 6. Immediately after the mile marker, turn right uphill on a small offshoot. Continue straight past two branches until the end of the road. There is one small water bar and one larger that will require high clearance. If you can't make it past the second water bar, park just before, which only adds a few minutes onto the approach. If continuing through, park at the end of the road and walk into the forest. Teal flagger, should be visible at the edge of the forest. Follow it to the trails to the boulders and up to the crag. Approximately a 3 minute flat approach.
NOTE: The Mainlines are ACTIVE logging roads. Although they are public-access, expect logging traffic at anytime.
See boulders section for bouldering topo.
