Description

Adventurous narrow granite buttress that makes up the southern skyline of the canyon's entrance. Although not super proud from the trailhead it houses one of the longer classic routes in the lower portion of the canyon.

Getting There

Park as for the old sheep herder's settlement which is the left turn towards the end of the road. From here shlep up the steep hillside through the pinyon pines shooting for the toe of the buttress. Approach time is anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour.
