Description
Urban. Expect spray paint and broken glass, at the Crossland Boulder, at least. Established problems are in the V-Easy to V1 range. Crossland Boulder is primarily an overhang, while Bacchae Boulder’s key feature is an arete.
Getting There
Near the Harford Rd bridge over Herring Run. Park along Chesterfield Ave.
For the Bacchae Boulder, park along Chesterfield, by the bridge. Follow trail along edge of field, and cross under the bridge at the first opportunity. Follow tree line up for a few minutes, then cut into woods near a lone pine tree. Follow faint trail down to the boulder, near the water.
For Crossland Boulder, park along Chesterfield, near Crossland Ave. A faint trail will lead directly down to the boulder. Alternatively, park a little farther down, next to the ball field. Follow the trail into the trees, and the boulder will soon appear on the right.
