Description

Loftier has the highest sport routes at Defulan, up to 36m high. Sport routes range from. 5.7 to 5.12. The routes have a middle set of anchors if your rope is 60m or less. (A 70m rope will be just enough with rope stretch to get you to the ground.) TIE BACKUP KNOTS! You'll need about 20 quickdraws too.

Getting There

Continue on the trail from Final Frontier where you'll encounter steps and switchbacks. Please stay on the trail (walking along the inside of the trail and not walk along the outside slope area, nor take shortcuts). When you arrive at the base of the cliff, you'll be at the start of a series of 13 completed routes that go to the right. (Routes to the left are still under development, so do not climb them nor ascend any of the static ropes).
