Description
The Island itself is usually crowd-free due to tough entry climb, the breeze that you feel down on the beach is non-existent on the peak as you're higher up.
Getting There
Head to "Black Beach" bordering Lake Superior, once you're there, find the island protrudes from the edge of the beach. (lots of giant piled-up boulders) Once you start scaling the boulders, you'll find a small, fairly vertical crevice with 2 trees growing in it. This is the only way that I've found to get up and down. Once up the crevice, hug the right side of the platueu, until you reach a large area of downhill rock. The climb is at the southernmost tip of the island so head all the way down.
