Description
An interesting local diversion if driving down Cajon Wash that's a little scrappy but offers a chance to get some movement in an picturesque location.
Getting There
Exit Interstate 215 at Devore Road/Glen Helen Parkway and drive west on Glen Helen Parkway.
Just before the bridge crossing the wash make a left onto a paved then dirt road that circles around right and then drops into the wash.
Follow the sandy wash for 0.6 miles until you see the rocks off on the right edge of the wash.
- 4WD recommended but AWD will work since the drive is slightly downhill.
- It can easily be done going the opposite direction but be aware there are several sections of deep soft sand along the way.
