Description Suggest change

This area is the closest section of rock and can be seen from the approach trail. Being closer than the majority of the other rock wall and appearing as having interesting features were the initial reasons for investigation. Upon closer inspection the rock was found to be less quality and overall much more vegetated than other crags at Byers. Thats not to say there aren't some lines that could be climbed with minimal effort. Of note was a well featured wall of flakes & crimps that would make for some fun bolted lines after cleaning and several longer very dirty corner cracks.

Getting There Suggest change

Near the top of the cascade trail these rocks come into vision looking south. As with all approaches at Byers hiking to the top of the plateau and descending from above is recommended.
