Access Issue: Private Property signs further down the river Details

Private Property signs appear on the other side of the river (southwest bank) at around 0.4 miles from the parking lot (quite far down from the main area). That being said, be warry when climbing on boulders across the river in general! Please be respectful of all other visitors, and as always, brush your tick marks and chalk before leaving a boulder!

Description

A very steep, sizable boulder on the south hill, across the river.

Getting There

From the Riverside Boulder, walk southeast along the bank of the river until you see a very large toppled tree lying in the river. Use this tree and some rocks to get across for the best chance of not getting wet. From there, head back along the bank river (northwest) until you get roughly back to the River Boulder. Heading straight up the hill from there, you should be able to find the boulder. Be careful not to go too much farther up the hill from the boulder, as there is a house at the top of the hill.

Please be conscious about where you are stepping, there is a lot of fragile plant life (and also poison ivy) that should be avoided if possible. Stick to the same path on your approach up and your approach down the hill/along the bank.
