Description Suggest change

This is an awesome boulder to climb and feels secluded because of the trees and proximity to the river. I hesitate to post this boulder because of the privacy it offers but it is by no means a secret to those that hike in this area. There are often dead trees stacked against this boulder and has been a good amount of broken or cut trees (probably for firewood). Let's try to be better than other hikers in this area. As of the writing of this, there are still several projects on this boulder. It is also a very difficult to photograph so I apologize for the quality of my photos. It can be quite beautiful in the summer and fall but at the time of me taking these photos, it's still dead and brown.

Getting There Suggest change

Probably the best way to find this boulder (especially for the first time) is to cross the bridge and head east down the trail. You will continue down this trail for a few minutes. There is a left hand turn that will take you down a trail towards the river. The boulder is somewhat hidden among the trees. This boulder can be difficult to find if you haven't been there before since it's hidden in the trees.
