CA State Parks officially reopened Big Rock to public access April 28th, 2018. After months of effort 53 anchors and 232 bolts have been upgraded to 1/2" X 2.75" stainless steel Powers 5-piece bolts and rings.
Description
The Ground School Slab is the lower angled slab closest to Lake Perris.
While low angle it is this feature that makes Ground School Slab ideal for low stress multi-pitch simulation.
There are two sets of fixed anchors at the top of the slab for establishing belays. Neither anchor is equipped for rappelling.
