Description

Giriş is a 90 meter long by 35 meter tall portion of the main south facing cliff band. As of 2020 there were 28 routes with grades ranging from 5a to 7b+ the sector starts at stream level near the mouth of the canyon where a 12 inch welded steel irrigation pipe climbs up a small cliff on the left side. This sector extends another 20 meters uphill and to the right of the fore mentioned steel pipe. The first and last part of the sector is characterized by less than vertical, quality gray face climbing in the 5th & 6th grade. The middle portion has a steep section at the base with enjoyable 7th grade routes (french).

Getting There

Giriş is located at the mouth of the canyon. It is the second sector that faces south and the first sector you will arrive at on the continuous main cliff band. You will cross the small stream bed twice to arrive at the cliff. It is roughly a five minute walk from Dodo Camp.
