Description

Large boulder in dispersed BLM camping along Hancock Rd. Single sandstone boulder with many interesting line crimps and pinches and cool shapes. Sand below most of the boulder with a fairly straight forward climb down the backside after a top out. Boulder is about 30 ft. tall.

Getting There

From Hwy 89 get on Hancock road towards the Coral Pink Sand dunes State Park. A few miles down the road you’ll see the dispersed camping pull offs start, easiest way in that the right pull off labeled 64F on a small sign. The boulder is only maybe 200 ft from the main road. The dispersed camping roads are all sand passable with a 2WD but if it’s wet 4WD or AWD would be recommended.
