Description
This boulder currently hosts the highest concentration of harder problems in Iowa. It has a slightly bulging base and becomes vertical. Great start holds and a nice jug seam separated by very small holds. These problems are all drop offs. Landings vary in safety. Bring as many pads as you can. The boulder is about 40ft long and sits underneath a very large roof. It is kept dry from rain. Oh and the area is haunted. If you see a rose on the ground….RUN.
Getting There
Park in the pullout by the gate. Walk down the access road and keep going past the down trees in the road until you see some stakes painted red at the top. The ground should be near flat by this point. Cut right and follow the creek to the stoney hollow. Look for the giant protruding roof. The boulder is underneath.
