Description
East Canyon of the Lemhi Range is home to some of the most bullet-proof stone as well as the most putrid choss in the area. Being outside of the bolting ban of the Box Canyon area, there is plenty of room for exploration and development. Serving as a great destination for climbers looking to escape the crowds with some extra effort put into the approaches.
Getting There
Heading west on ID 33 from Sage Junction just before you enter into the town of Howe turn right on 1300w you should be looking directly at saddle mountain after turning. Head down 1300w until you are forced to make a right turn then pretty much immediately take a right on a dirt road. Continue heading up this dirt road until you enter East Canyon.
