Description

A decent sized boulder hidden from the main providence hiking trail. There is currently one established problem on the boulder with room for a few more on the main vertical face . The boulder sits in the shade form almost the whole day because of the tree cover. There may be more boulders up the hill I just haven't ventured up there yet.

Getting There

Park at the second parking lot up providence canyon where the maintenance shed used to be. Cross the road and follow the trail across the river and on to the providence canyon trail. Follow the trail for 50 yards until it forks and take the left fork back up the canyon. The start of the approach trail is after the short boulder field and it is marked by a cairn. Approach time from car is around 3 minutes.
