Description Suggest change

This stand-alone boulder just off the Dolores-Norwood Rd. makes for a nice warm-up or cool-down on your way to other things. There's potential for a couple other sandy moderates in the area, but the rock quality isn't the best.

Getting There Suggest change

This boulder is located on the west (left) side of the Dolores-Norwood Rd., between mile markers 4 and 5. When viewed on a map, it's located where the road crosses the south fork of Little Bean Canyon. Basically, it you hit the 15 mph hairpin around mile 5, you've gone too far - backtrack to the last draw you pass through. Park on the east side of the road, where a blocked logging road takes a very sharp right. The boulder appears as a sharp point through the trees on the other side of the road.
