40 foot tall solid blue schist split boulder with a wide chimney crack up its center. Several oxidized bolts are in need of replacement. Refer to Rock Climbing Western Oregon, Rogue, 2005. Haystack Boulder topo photo pp. 168.

Getting There Suggest change

Take Bandon Beach Look Road south past the golf coarse turning right onto Mars Lane before you come to the stables. Using the Mars Lane beach access hike north to Haystack Boulder. Refer to Rock Climbing Western Oregon, Rogue, 2005 map page 164 .
