Description Suggest change

Small area of boulders on the west side of Pine Mountain.

There are a good bit of boulders here with about 20 problems established.

The main line is Ripple Effect and is worth every bit of the hike.

The hiking trail that was beat down is overgrown now.

Getting There Suggest change

Prepare for a bushwack.

Off Hwy 72. look for Directions to Sauta Cave and this will get you to the parking lot.

park at the gate and stay on the road and go past the cave approx. 1/4 of a mile.

Turn into the woods when you see a old piece of silver roofing tin.

The hiking trail that was beat down is overgrown now so there will likely not be any signs of a trail left.

Continue straight about 20 yards till you come up on a flat cut in the hill.

Turn right and follow the trail till you come to some old limestone block building ruins on the left .

Turn left and follow the gully/washout up passing boulders until you see the larger ones further up.
