Description Suggest change

A newly unearthed wall, East Face has juggy holds and slabby faces along with a short set of crack features to the right suitable for a short trad project.

While the wall isn’t tall, it’s perfect for the novice climber who wants to dig into some sport climbing and top rope with the comfort of reassuring holds.

Be aware of the cavern under the anchor, as well as the base of East Face, as these areas may have creepy crawlies scurrying about in the warmer months.

Be sure to avoid digging too deep into mossy areas, as you’re sure to turn up some choss and maybe release a demon or two.

Since the face hasn’t seen much traffic, there is a dirty base that would benefit from some passive scrubbing and dirt reallocation. The larger pieces of choss have already been taken care of.

Follow the cliff down and then descend to the stream to find a waterfall coming out of the hwy culvert with a small pool.

Getting There Suggest change

The East Face wall is located just left of the trail leading to the main crag.

The base can be accessed by walking left instead of going up the trail to South Face.
To go straight to the anchor, go up the trail towards South Face and huck a left when you reach the tree in the middle of the path. You will find a small accessory cord attach to the base of the large tree (so that you don’t slip and fall) to guide you down to the anchor. Exhibit caution, as this access is typically a little wet and extra care should be taken when going straight to the anchor (hence the guide rope).
