Description
High quality water polished granite at the mountain base along Highway 111 before you get to Palm Springs. This area is noted in the Tram Bouldering guidebook - as per local area ethics, no gluing please.
Getting There
From the West: As if going to the Tramway, turn off the 10 onto the 111 to Palm Springs. There'll be a random dirt turn off toward a shooting area filled with rubbish. The setting may be reminiscent of Fallout New Vegas' post-nuclear landscape.
Mind the active shooters that may be present. It's a good idea to let them know where you'll be hiking to so they know not to shoot that way. Take a wide arc hiking through the beach-like sand to the obvious boulder field gully.
