Description
Seaside bouldering and a handful of routes are found in the Pelican Cove Area which is between the Point Vicente Lighthouse and the Terranea Resort.
Climbing here is varied and diverse with the Basalt Boulders and Sea Spray Rock in Pelican Cove and The Pigeon Cave, Looseifer Wall and additional seaside bouldering a little further east.

Getting There
Parking is available in a large paved parking area just south of Palos Verdes Drive South and approximately 0.5 miles past the Point Vicente Lighthouse.
Hike down the trail leading to the ocean and head right to the Basalt Boulders or left to Sea Spray Rock, The Pigeon Cave or the Looseifer Wall.
The approach takes 5-25 minutes depending upon the area visited and conditions at the time.
