Description

Left Wall is a 30 m tall by 60 m long south facing cliff of beautiful gray and orange limestone. There are 15+ routes with grades that range from 4b to 8c. The style is generally technical vertical face climbing with the occasional tufa and always a spectacular view.

Getting There

Left Wall is located 6.4 kilometers up stream of the bridge over the Cemi River. This collection of cliffs is clearly visible on the south facing side of the canyon. Park next to the highway and walk across a one lane bridge before turning left and walk 30 m to the base of the hill. There is a fairly well defined footpath that continues up and left staying slightly uphill of a power line pole and continuing to a point at the left edge of the middle sector where the trail intersects the cliff face.
