Description Suggest change

The Headstone is a short, northeast facing band of limestone just slightly off the road to Brian Head that offers a dozen or so convenient sport routes.

Routes here are short, varying from 30-50 feet and are best in the summer and autumn.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive Hwy. 143 uphill for 13 miles and you have arrived; if you hit the S-turns on the highway you've gone too far.

The best parking is in a turnout across the road facing downhill and directly across from the crag.

  • The approach takes about a minute and is obvious.
