Description Suggest change

This small buttress hosts fun, juggy climbing on a steep (for Pine Creek) face. Though the wall is west facing, it goes into the shade a decent bit earlier than the rest of the climbs on the east side of the creek thanks to being set further forward than the main canyon wall (full shade by ~2:00 PM in August, ~3:00 or so in July). The rock is a mixture of good black patina and lower quality granite.

This area is newly developed as of 2020 and still cleaning up so both belayers and climbers should wear a helmet.

Getting There Suggest change

Approach as for the Gecko/Mini Buttress Walls. Punk Rock is ~30 seconds up canyon past the Gecko, on the opposite side of the creek. Once you've reached the 5.10 crack climbs of the Mini Buttress, turn right and cross the creek - a little brushy, but pretty easy with big stepping stones. The wall is directly ahead.
