Description
A long drive and long, steep approach leads to a remote, poorly bonded conglomerate cliff standing prominently north of Bryce Canyon and seen for miles in every direction. While it certainly can be cleaned up, it will take some serious effort to put in quality lines here. Be warned, it may not be so easy as driving out and putting up a few FAs, this area would need a lot of love.
That said, a plethora of boulders exist that are much easier to hike to from the 'road,' and they do eventually clean up nice.
Getting There
Several small ATV trails exist, some of which are possible in a regular 4x4 with good clearance. Not for the 2wds. Tom Best's Spring road was in fantastic shape Aug 2020, then some smaller trails (I think I took 183 to 116) were rough and rocky. Slow going. ATV/UTV might be the best access but any 4x4 high clearance will do. Expect at least an hour from Hwy 12 if trails are in good shape.
