Description Suggest change

A prominence on the ridge between Unicorn Peak and Echo Ridge; the twin summits become apparent at the top. Nice views. The Roper guide suggests a 4th class route on the west side, perhaps the easiest descent option. The NW crack is 5.7ish, worthy of 3 stars, and leads directly to the north summit; normal rack to 3½ or 4 inches. A circuitous 4th class/easy 5th class route from the NW up and around to the N and E sides leads to the notch between the summits.

Getting There Suggest change

Overland access is straight forward from Elizabeth or Budd Lake, from the upper reaches of the Matthes or Echo Lake drainages, or from Echo Ridge.
