Description
Lara state is characterized by its strong popular culture. It contained many myths related to its beautiful mountains, whose incredible landscapes make your climbing trip very relaxed. The most common areas for climbing are Humocaro located in the southwest of the state and Torrellero in the southeast.
Getting There
Getting to the capital city of this state, Barquisimeto, is not difficult. It is located on the "Autopista Centro Occidental" (Western Central Highway) 341 km from Caracas. From the entrance of the city you can drive to both climbing areas. Consider that they are in opposite directions.
