Description Suggest change

Secluded boulder, a fair ways off from the main trail. No parking or use fees. Fairly bright although you are in a valley. A nice stream flows about 30ft away. Parking closes at sundown.

CAUTION: The rock here is brittle when wet. DO NOT climb within 48 hours after a good rain. There are choss blocks that are too big to remove at this time. Some of them are marked with X's. Climb with caution and at your own risk.

Getting There Suggest change

Take the main pine mtn trail until it splits off into two. One left and one right. Take the left trail for about a quarter mile until it curves back to the right. Instead curving to right on the main trail, continue in the direction the trail was previously going. You will find yourself hiking down to the base of the valley. Continue hiking in the base of the valley with the stream on your left until you see a relatively large rock outcropping on your right. It should be marked with blue paint. This is your destination. :)
