Description

Sandstone boulder right off of scouts trail in Harrison Hills Park.

Getting There

After entering the park, take the fork to the right and continue until its conclusion at a small loop. During soccer season you can drive down to the soccer fields, otherwise it is a quarter mile hike down the hill. Once at the lower parking lot for the soccer fields, with the hill at your back, you will see 2 soccer fields in front of you, and 1 behind to the right. Walk to the far right corner of the field in front on your right. You will see a marked red path, follow this path 30 yards to a bench. A path is cleared from this bench to the boulder. Alternatively, as soon as you get out of your car locate the red path, (scout's trail), and follow it to the bench, but the terrain is more difficult. You can see the trail on the climbing map if you switch the overlay to OSM.
