Description

Turtle-shaped dome on the ridge to the west of Ursa Minor Spire, across the amphitheatre through which the main trail travels.

Getting There

Hike the Bear Mountain Trail for about 25 minutes, passing Ursa Minor Spire and wrapping around into a large amphitheatre. Turtle Dome can easily be identified here. Leave the trail and contour west across the amphitheatre to the base of the dome.
