Description
A beautiful, glacier covered mountain on the Cascade Crest. Fred Beckey highlights it as 'likely the gentlest peak of its size in the Cascades;' certainly it offers easy glacier climbing while being almost 8,000 feet. It has five small, rocky summits that sit above the large glaciers. In recorded history, it was first climbed by the 1925 Mountaineers, but Beckey also notes that it was likely ascended by surveyors previously.
