Couple of boulder's near the intersection of Old U.S. 41 and the Taylor iron mine trail. The area has more boulder's in the back country, but the roads are seasonal and can be impassable @ various times of the year, caution should be taken when navigating the area.

Getting There Suggest change

Old 41 heads north east from the intersection of current US 41 and Baraga Plains rd. Old 41 is a dirt road that heads (N.E.)  Baraga Plains road is paved and heads (S.W.) The intersection is a mile or so north of the village of Alberta. From the intersection continue about 1.7 miles on Old 41,  the first boulder is just off the road to the south. Continue a tenth a mile or so, to the intersection of Old 41 and the Taylor iron mine track. The other boulder is just south of the intersection.
