PSA for those thinking about a trip. The gates are still closed and the sign says enter at your own risk. "Aerial application by helicopter of the herbicide Rejuvra will target over 5,700 acres on a landscape that has been the focus of multiple years’ worth of treatment."

Description

These are scattered boulders walking distance from prime Vedauwoo camping. There are countless unnamed climbs all over, with a few especially notable ones (e.g., “The Brahj Proj”).

Getting There

Access the free camping area past Nautilus, and park fairly far in (after you’ve made a right turn off of 700 to get onto 700E, keep driving for about 5 minutes and park anywhere).

Use these coordinates and you should be in good shape. Describing the terrain for this area is very difficult, so rely on the coordinates!
