Description Suggest change

This beautiful canyon is short enough to day hike but large enough to feel secluded within the full beauty of the Wind River Range. Trails run from the base of the canyon at Fiddlers Lake all the way to Thumb Lake within the large granite cirque. This canyon has the potential for all types of routes, from bouldering, to 3rd and 4th class ascents, to multi pitch trad.

Getting There Suggest change

The canyon is accessed from Fiddlers Lake. From Lander, take route 131 through Sinks Canyon. Continue onto route 300 up switchbacks then eventually onto a dirt road. Total drive is about 1.5 hours. Access to climbing within the canyon can be anywhere from a 4 to 10 mile hike, almost exclusively on trails.
