Access to climbing unknown although you should be fine. Keep this gorgeous area pristine.
Description
Giant Rock, cool boulders! 5.9-5.12 and V0- to V impossible. The boulders are super slick river rock (Greenstone and California Jade, Schist and Serpentine). You might not like it as the rock has no friction at all ( acquired taste) but requires ultra friction moves if that makes any sense. Some of the rock is fragile (the boulders away from the river) so please don't break holds. Don't worry the ones near the river are bomb proof river rock. After you climb here climbing other rocks will be a lot easier. There is also a few other rock types such as one that resembles the lost rocks. Potential for projects well over double digits! This area is super exposed so climbing during the morning or late afternoon is best so you can climb harder. The rest of the day just plan on exploring and checking out the best swimming holes in the world!
