HUMAN WASTE Human waste is one of the major issues plaguing Red Rocks. The Las Vegas Climbers Liaison Council and the AAC provides free "wag bags" in several locations (Black Velvet, First Pullout, Kraft Mtn/Bouldering, The Gallery, and The Black Corridor). These bags are designed so that you can pack your waste out - consider bringing one to be part of your kit (just like your rope and shoes and lunch) no matter where you go. Once used, please dispose of them properly (do not throw them in the toilets at the parking area).
Description
This boulder has several problems including the namesake Tilt Shift, one of the better problems in Red Rocks.
Getting There
Approximately 45-55ish minute hike. Head to the Oak Creek parking lot off of the scenic loop and proceed to the southwest trail and hike towards Oak Creek Canyon. Once past Beehive Knoll on the left, take the trail south towards the knoll. You can either continue past beehive knoll and eventually take a right up and into the wash from the bottom or cut off early and hike over the nearby hill. Continue to the top of the wash and you will see the boulder.
