Claypool Dome Rock Climbing

From Movie Road where it turns to dirt:  Follow a jeep trail/dirt road that heads east and eventually goes down into a wash and then heads back north into the Deep Spur proper.  Keep right on this trail when it splits until it dead ends. Park in the dead end loop and the dome is visible to the north. Head directly toward the dome from the parking area until a small cliffband forces you east. Skirt this cliff and do a final approach from the east to avoid any scrambling or getting cliffed out. Approach takes about 10-15 minutes if you do it right.
