Description

The area around Mammoth Pool Reservoir, and above the incredible San Joaquin river canyon, is home to some legendary walls and many many domes.

As with Shuteye and other areas, much was burned in the 2020 Creek Fire.

Getting There

From the town of North Fork, near Bass Lake, drive Minarets Road (aka Mammoth Pool rd.) for roughly 30 miles (passing Shuteye Ridge) and you'll be in the heart of it. See individual dome pages for specifics. Some stuff could be approached from the other side, out of Shaver.
