Description Suggest change

The East face of Gunsight may not capture your attention at first. Indeed, it is not as tall or as clean as other objectives in the area. But when you go, (and you should go) it is the whole experience of just being up there that makes the effort worth it. The camping and views are really quite lovely.

Getting There Suggest change

The approach can be done in 4 hours or less.

as Randy’s book indicates, Gunsight may be reached by forking off of the Fault Lake trail, by going up from Hunt Lake, or by following the ridge down from Roothaan.

Having approached from the fault lake trail and hunt lake, I am starting to believe that via Roothaan may be the best way to go.
