Description Suggest change

This large boulder was developed by Chuck and Loren Scott in the 90's. It is home to three bolted routes and one top rope, however at the time this was written the anchors could not be found on top but a nice sized crack can be utilized to build an anchor from gear. Being mostly north facing, this rock is a good afternoon spot for some hard sport climbing and the great views of Mill Peak are only a few minutes away (be sure to sign the summit registry.)

Getting There Suggest change

Approach as you would for School Rock, drive up the Running Springs School Road to the parking area for the San Bernardino Land Trust area Coyote Rock (aka School Rock.) From there, walk on the dirt road past School Rock for about 3/4 mile until reaching a gate. From this gate walk 200 yards down the road before turning right on a trail heading to Mill Peak. Take this trail for approximately 1/4 mile before reaching a fork in the trail. Continuing up and right is the summit of Mill Peak, head left instead and the north and west face of the Crow's Nest will appear soon.
