Description Suggest change

Top ropes aplenty, kids (& sometimes dogs), new girlfriends…. This is where we started all new climbers at Keyhole. However, that was before we became culturally sensitive to the area. These low-angle slabs on the left side of the mouth of Keyhole, from the Chockstone left to the orange and black streaked wall, are the centerpiece of petroglyphs at Keyhole and shouldn’t be climbed or scrambled on at all. Routes listed here are for historical purposes only. For climbing to continue being a recognized and legal recreational activity in the rest of the Lower Canyon, please respect the 100’ rule and don’t climb on or near the petroglyphs.
