Description

This area over looks Hummel's cove. It was intended to be a great practice/beginner area with a solid mix of short traditional, sport, and mixed routes where every route is accessible from the top. There are plenty of opportunities for traditional gear placements on top which makes it a great area for anyone interested in practicing their top managed skills in a beautiful setting (so long as the kids aren't partying too hard on the island). Please Leave No Trace.

All routes outlined are what I enjoyed playing around with while developing the area.

There's even a hammock set up between the rock face and the tree. (Trad gear required).

Getting There

As you make your way towards the popular cliff jumping area, stay slightly left as you approach the jeep turn around. The cliff should be visible through the trees. Get onto the plateau and enjoy.
