Description
Three out of the way boulders offer up quality movement on polished granitic mylonite. They get morning sun and some afternoon shade.
These boulders are on forest service land but there is private property to the east.

Getting There
From the mother lode boulders walk or drive down the road to the east. Take the first right fork to skirt around a large mud pit then rejoin the main road and take it over a small hill and down to a parking area long the canal. Park here and wade across the canal. The basic and whale boulders are located down the hill to the north amongst the aspen. The canal boulder is located just bellow the canal access road to the south east.
