Description
An awesome backcountry climbing wall with routes up to 4 pitches long, from 5.6-5.10. Not to be confused with the Mount Hoffman in Yosemite National Park!
Excellent climbing on knobs, and typical golden Southern Sierra Granite.
Getting There
Take Highway 168 towards Shaver Lake. At Shaver Lake, take a right onto Dinkey Creek road. Follow this towards Wishon Reservoir. Past the reservoir make your way to the Rancheria Creek Trailhead.
Follow the trail to a T-intersection, take a left. The formation will be obvious above the trail. Continue a bit past the formation and make your way to the base. About 3 miles from the TH.
