Description Suggest change

A few mixed routes in the 5.10 range were established here by Danny Meyers and Jenni Stone in the late 80s after the first Keyhole Classic. This is the last and tallest wall on the south end of the west facing trachyandesite dyke just before it disappears into the hillside. A tower of volcanic breccia rests against the middle of the cliff and the routes are on either side of it.

Getting There Suggest change

Go 21 miles south on US95 from the overpass of the US93/95 intersection, turn right on a power line road (turning left goes to Knob Hill) and follow it until it tees at another power line road after 3 miles and turn left. After about a quarter mile turn right at the base of a small black hill on the first dirt road and within a few hundred feet a smaller road casts off left across the desert. Follow this smaller road up over a hill and into the big wash until the road ends below the dyke. The road is accessible for most cars with clever driving. I've made it back here in my Geo Metro but a higher clearance vehicle would be better.
