Description Suggest change

After wearing a white cloak all winter long, Mingus Mountain glows green and gold in the morning light, standing tall above the Verde Valley. A passing climber wonders, "There must be something climbable up there." Be willing to search out these small and hidden crags and reap the benefits of only having to share the area with ghosts of the pasts as you encounter artifacts of another generation rusted in the washes. Limestone, Tuff, and Basalt randomize across the mountain with Ancient Seabed Sandstone poking a nose out here and there.

Getting There Suggest change

North from Prescott on 89A and South from Cottonwood is the 7,800 ft peak known as Mingus Mountain.
