Description
A well secluded climbing area with the same approach as the Druids. The rock type is a weathered Quartz Monzonite similar to the Buttermilks, with more hueco like features and more grainy texture. This area has an incredible view of Inyo County and is an incredible spot.
Little has been documented about what climbs have been done here, and the names of boulders. People with information feel free to add boulders and climbs and any suggestions or info to make this page better and more accurate.
Getting There
Once near the top of the mountain look right and you will see a giant square shaped boulder. This boulder is known as the "Merlin Block". It is huge and has an assortment of highball climbs on it. One side looks like a giant tidal wave. Head up the hill towards this boulder staying on the well traveled trails used by hikers and by Mule Deer and Mountain Lions. Once you reach this huge boulder you will see an array of boulders behind it and another huge boulder left of it.
There are some incredible rock features in this area such as a boulder that looks like pride rock. There are more boulders past this cluster towards the deep ravine as well. These clusters of boulders are known as the Warlock Boulders.
