Warning Access Issue: Safer Seward Hwy Project Threatens Alaska Climbing DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

Great rock though quite short. This area is protected from the wind and highway noise. All routes can be climbed from a single anchor making this a great area for first time climbers.

Getting There Suggest change

From the parking for Pivot Point Follow the trail into the woods and take the immediate left for Lefty Area. Just before reaching the Lefty climbs follow a faint (at the moment) trail up and right to the base of the "dome".

Alternately, if you are at Upper Pivot follow moose trails down hill about 75 yards to find this area. This approach will involve some bushwhacking.
