Description Suggest change

East Horn is the pointy peak to the east of the Falling Ice Glacier on Mount Moran and the south side of the Skillet Glacier.

Only a handful of recorded routes, ranging from snow/ice and rock from 3rd class to 5.8.

Fantastic views of the Black Dike on Moran and across the West Horn to the Grand Teton.

A worthy objective if one has some spare time and extra energy after an approach to the CMC high camp on Moran.

Getting There Suggest change

String Lake valley trail (if hiking) or portage (if canoeing). Plan a few hours.
